Wellspring to Move to Rainelle, Reopen in Fall 2025

Wellspring is excited to announce that the organization has a new home in Rainelle, WV. The organization is relocating to 223 Main Street in Rainelle and will have twice the operating space of its current building.

The last day open to the public in the Rupert building will be Thursday, June 26, 2025. Wellspring will be closed to the public until the end of September for construction. Following this, a grand reopening and a building dedication ceremony will take place (date to be announced).

In 2025, Wellspring has served over 1,000 individuals per month with groceries, hot meals, and a range of other basic needs services. That includes over 19,459 meals served directly to neighbors!

In the newly expanded space, Wellspring will enhance and update its food pantry model, meal program, and Day Haven programs. They are also developing a holistic, advocacy-based health service program to address the needs of Appalachians in southern West Virginia.
