At Wellspring of Greenbrier, we are committed to providing a range of programs designed to instill hope and help with the practical needs of our community.

Essential Construction & Home Improvement

During the warm months of the year (April-October) we help improve homes for those who are below the poverty line and/or disabled. The projects we take on aim to contribute to a safe living space. We have previously constructed handicap ramps, laid new subflooring, and reinsulated small living spaces.

Share The Warmth

During the winter months we assist those in need find heating resources for their home. Whether this be through helping with a utility bill, harvesting and delivering wood, or financially assisting with propane and kerosene fill-ups.

Adopt-a-Family

During the holidays we coordinate with local churches and organizations to sponsor a family in the community. In 2022 we raised over $10,000 and gifted over 50 families with children's presents and groceries.

Food Pantry

Our food pantry occurs twice per month and is currently the largest in Greenbrier County. We provide over 2,000 meals per month to over 300 individuals and families in the area. Our county is in a food crisis and the need continues to rise each month.

Bread and Soup Express

On the off weeks of the food pantry, we serve those who come into the center with a hot meal made by our gracious volunteers.

Quarterly Giveaways

We also host multiple “giveaway” events throughout the year. Items range from household and clothing to hygiene and cleaning products.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization! If you or someone you know is wanting to volunteer please call us at the center or email info@wellspringofgreenbrier.com
